Bill Quesnel – CINRG Systems Inc.

Contents
This workshop sets out best practices for performing particle counts in on-site and laboratory environments. Topics including the effects of different sample diluents on reported counts and performing particle counting on difficult samples including used diesel engine oils, and water/glycol hydraulic oil samples. This workshop will provide training for how to conduct the recalibration of particle counting instruments in your own laboratory, including a discussion on recent changes to the NIST traceable standards (SR2806d) for particle counting instruments, and the impact this will have on your particle count results.
