The International Council for Machinery Lubrication (ICML) is an independent, non-profit organization dedicated to promoting reliable machinery lubrication. With its practice-oriented certification program, it supports lubrication and maintenance professionals in their daily work. ICML plays an important role in the development and maintenance of lubrication-related standards and works closely with ANSI (American National Standards Institute) and ISO (International Organization for Standardization).
UEIL (Union of the European Lubricants Industry)
UEIL (the Union of the European Lubricants Industry) represents Europe’s lubricants industry, with a particular focus on SMEs and independent companies. Through its 30 members, UEIL covers the entire lubricants value chain, representing over 450 companies and 100,000 employees. UEIL provides expertise and acts as a key industry interlocutor for EU institutions on health and safety, environment, recycling, access to technical information, technical specifications, taxation and industry statistics.
OELCHECK GmbH, Germany
The leading state-of-the-art laboratory for lubricant analysis in Europe offers more than 50 different test methods. OELCHECK analyzes and comments more than 200,000 samples every year. These numbers result in a enormous database with above 1.5 million analyzed samples. OELCHECK-experts also assist in the selection process of lubricants and act as expert witnesses in the investigation of damage cases. In 2010 the company created the OilDoc Academy as a spin-off.
